1) Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MapleLearn Canada website (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Site. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Site and that your parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2) Service Description

MapleLearn Canada provides educational content and general guidance about education in Canada, including program types, admissions planning topics, scholarships and budgeting concepts, and international student pathway overviews. The Site is intended to support research and planning and does not replace official institutional or government information.

We do not act as a school, admissions office, or immigration authority. We do not guarantee outcomes such as admission decisions, scholarship awards, visa or permit approvals, or employment results. Any tools, checklists, or articles are provided as general information and may not apply to every institution or individual situation.

3) User Obligations

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use of the Site. You are responsible for ensuring that any information you submit through the Site is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not violate any law or third-party rights.

  • Do not scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data from the Site without our prior written permission.
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise derive source code, underlying ideas, or algorithms from the Site.
  • Do not impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.
  • Do not upload or transmit malware, destructive code, or content intended to disrupt the Site.
  • If the Site later offers accounts or saved features, you agree to maintain one account per person and to safeguard access credentials.

4) Intellectual Property

The Site, including its design, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and code, is owned by MapleLearn Canada or licensed to MapleLearn Canada and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. "MapleLearn Canada" and related marks are trademarks or service marks of MapleLearn Canada.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial educational use. This license does not permit you to reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works, or otherwise exploit the Site content without our prior written consent, except as allowed by mandatory law.

5) Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Site, its servers, or networks. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Spamming, sending unsolicited messages, or using the Site to promote unrelated products or services.
  • Hacking, attempting to bypass security measures, or probing the Site for vulnerabilities.
  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or submitting false information through any contact mechanism.
  • Posting or transmitting content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or violates privacy or publicity rights.
  • Using automated means to access the Site in a way that imposes an unreasonable load.
  • Collecting or attempting to collect personal information about other users without consent.

6) Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MapleLearn Canada disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any information on the Site. You use the Site at your own risk.

7) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MapleLearn Canada will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Site.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MapleLearn Canada’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will not exceed the amount paid by you to MapleLearn Canada for use of the Site in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 EUR, whichever is lower.

8) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MapleLearn Canada, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right.

9) Third-Party Links

The Site may reference third-party organizations, institutions, or services for informational purposes. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk, and you should review their terms and privacy policies.

10) Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information, including cookie choices for analytics and advertising. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws rules. You agree that the courts located in Toronto, Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site.

12) Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days. You can send a notice describing your concern to our legal contact email listed below. If the dispute is not resolved within the informal resolution period, either party may pursue a claim in the courts specified in the Governing Law section.

13) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, attempted to compromise the Site’s security, or used the Site for unlawful purposes. Upon termination, the license granted to you to use the Site will end immediately.

Sections intended to survive termination will survive, including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, and Dispute Resolution.

14) Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, legal requirements, or our business practices. Unless a different timeframe is required by law, changes become effective fourteen (14) days after we post the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
